The network model of molecular motors

چکیده

Molecular motors are biogenic force generators acting in the nanometer range. They convert chemical energy into mechanical work and move along filamentous structures. In this research, we will discuss the velocity of molecular motors, in framework of a mechanochemical network theory. Our network model is based on the distinct mechanochemical states of molecular motors. It can be regarded as a generalization of the one used by Steffen Liepelt and Reinhard Lipowsky (PRL 98, 258102 (2007)). The method used in this research is similar as the one used by Michael E. Fisher and Anatoly B. Kolomeisky (PNAS(2001) 98(14) P7748-7753). Generally, the formulation of the velocity of molecular motors can be obtained. PACS : 87.16.Nn, 87.16.A-, 82.39.-k, 05.40.Jc
